  in this article, I explained how ERP systems have long been marketed as the cure for reconciliation problems, yet in reality, they fail to solve them. While ERPs record and organize data, they cannot reconcile the differences that arise with banks, customers, logistics providers, and suppliers. Reconciliation is not in the DNA of an ERP; that’s why month-ends are still filled with Excel marathons and late-night crises. The real solution lies in adding an independent “Reconciliation Engine” on top of the ERP, turning multiple truths into one single reality.
